Things to do in Bali
Bali is one of the top honeymoon destinations these days and why shouldn’t it be?
It offers amazing accommodations and adventurous activities under decent prices. Where else would you imagine renting a villa with private pool under INR 30,000 for 5 Nights?
It is the first place where I saw a volcano and activities like water surfing. Bali makes you feel like a billionaire because you spend in lakhs, even for a can of cola.
So for those who are not aware of Bali’s currency, it is 1 INR = 200 Rupiah. So, a coke can and a pizza can easily cost you 1.5 lakhs Rupiah.. enjoy that!

As I said that the value of Rupiah is low against Rupees. Here are some denominations to look at. They have a note for 1 Lakh as well, in red.
WHERE TO STAY IN BALI
Seminyak beach has a good atmosphere. Even if you don’t stay near it, atleast visit it once. Nearby you will also find shopping square and street markets.
Kutta beach is calm, not as happening as the one mentioned above BUT it has a wonderful mall, right across the road, surrounded by the street market and restaurants/cafes.
Both the beaches are good for surfing. If you want to do diving then stay in the Southeastern area.

Bali has a lot of coffee farms, If you are fond of tea/coffee then this is the place for you. I visited to this particular farm while returning from the Mt. Agung, this farm is on the way back to South Bali.
You can watch the coffee beans being extracted or being MANUFACTURED naturally! Yes, I`ll tell you how…
These little cats like animals eat the coffee beans, digest it and POOP them out n that poop is used to make THE BEST COFFEE of the world!!! known as Kopi luwak.
So coffee lovers let me know if you want me to get some poop for you, lol..
Yes, people, that`s me in the right picture…posing for the camera…
After you are done looking around the farm, you are offered all the variety of teas n coffees produced in the farm. All the beverages have different benefits, you can just zoom n read.. ;p
You can also buy some spices, they are really beneficial.
4. Nusa Penida Tour
You cannot explore this island in 1 day, you need at least 3 days. If you have only one day then you will have to choose the between East or West or south. And, believe me it is difficult to choose just one!
You can experience the following at this island:

6. Lempuyang Temple and Tirta Gangga Water Palace
This is one of the most instagrammable places in Bali. even, if you don’t know the name of this place but you must have seen these gates. These are called “Gate of Heaven”.
The Lempuyang Temple is home to Gates of Heaven. This temple is believed to be one of the six pillars of Bali and according to Balinese beliefs these six temples bring palace to Bali.
There are many stairs before you reach the gates and catch a spectacular view. It also overlooks the famous Mt. Agung. It is a good idea to visit early in the morning. January to March are the busiest time for this temple due to local ceremonies.

You can also enjoy water sports like jet ski and more on beaches apart from snorkelling and diving. Since there are many things to do in Bali, I would recommend you to pick a just a selected few. It is not mandatory to visit all the places. After all, there should be a reason to return!
Ubud (Market)
When I am the writer, how is it possible to miss out on malls and markets..haha. Ubud is a nice market, you will find some local clothes, restaurants, home accessories and more here. Out of everything, I found home decor products really attractive and cheap. You will find a good Indian restaurant as well there, it is called Queen`s land of India.
Tips
– When somebody passes away in Bali, the entire house is decorated. The gate is decorated with a butterfly-like structure. So don`t think that any happy function is going on.
– Good exchange rates are available behind beachwalk mall. Just count the money twice before leaving.
