As we all know, Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we break our fast after ,say, 8 hours. And, when we are hungry for that long why not give our stomachs a good treat. If every moment of our lives count then why not make every meal count as well. Taking full responsibility for your good Breakfast Time in London city, here I list the top 4 places to indulge in yummy goodness:
TOP 4 PLACES FOR BREAKFAST IN LONDON CITY
1.Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club is famous among people and is always full of them. You will be really lucky if you don’t have to wait in a queue before having breakfast.
The Club is located at 16 different places across London city. It started in 2005 with its first outlet on the D’Arblay street. One of them is just next to Oxford street and at a walkable distance from Oxford Circus station.
I decided to have my first breakfast, in London, in this club at Soho but I had my second instead, as there was such a long queue on the very first day of my trip and I was just not prepared to wait that long. I visited again on the second day, prepared, and got a shared table for 2 people after waiting for 25 minutes.
As they say, it is “Small but Mighty“. The club is small but you will love it, for sure. It was full of lovely people, fun decor, and good food.
There are plenty of options for non-vegetarians and fewer for Vegetarians. I belong to the second category. I requested the servers to prepare a Hash Brown Sandwich along with a glass of lemon Ice tea and they did, that too amazingly. It was delicious and I really liked their efforts.
This club offers a variety of Sandwiches, Pancakes, Burgers, Fries and much more. They have a special category called “Breakfast Club Classics” – all the dishes under this category are offered at 50% price. Most of the dishes are accompanied by sides like fries or salad.
They serve a different menu after 12 pm. The prices are decent, I paid around 10 Pounds for 2 Hash Brown sandwiches, 1 English Breakfast tea, and 1 Lemon Ice-Tea.

2.Toi & Moi Cafe
I came to Toi & Moi Cafe on the 5th day of my tour. This cafe was not on my list but thanks to the long queue at The Breakfast Club, I decided to have my meal here. The cafe is pretty and offers a variety of Pastries, Waffles, Omelettes, Coffees and more.
I again had Hash Brown Sandwich with a glass of Ice tea, it is not like that this is my daily meal but I really liked the one at the Breakfast Club so before leaving for Wembley I thought to must have it again.
I liked this cafe and the Hash Browns were better here. This is so because I enjoyed a different kind of bread more. The presentation was also nice. There are no pastries served in The Breakfast Club so even if you have your meal there, you can walk down to this cafe and enjoy a pastry. This cafe is hardly 15 steps away from the club.
Do taste the Chocolate Truffle pastry, it was delicious. The prices are similar to that of the Breakfast Club.
Writing this review is really making me feel hungry. I wish I could go back and have it all.

3. Pret A Manger
You will find Pret A Manger everywhere you go in London city. I can’t remember a place where I didn’t see it. It offers organic coffee and a variety of Sandwiches, Crossaints, salad, Juices, muffins and much more.
Pret A Manger, Soho, London
I tried a chocolate muffin and a chocolate croissant, it was nice. It would have been better to buy only one out of the two as both of them together made it too sweet. I should have combined something else with above-mentioned things. I regret not trying the coffee served here.
Have you tried it? Let me know your review in the comment section…

4. Caffe Concerto
Caffe Concerto has beautiful interiors and is expensive as compared to the above-mentioned cafes. This famous chain is spread across many parts of London City. I had two meals in this cafe at two different locations, Piccadilly Circus and near Harrods.
The outlet in front of Harrods is bigger and prettier than the other one. This place offers a variety of breakfast meals and one of the best pastries I had in London.
Apart from this, I would definitely recommend you to try this amazing Fentimans Rose Lemonade. This drink is not easily available. I could not find it in market shops, Just found it in a couple of cafes/restaurants. I loved this flavor out of many others. Inspired by this flavor, I tried another one called – Victorian Lemonade, I couldn’t sip more than a few drops as it was so sour, I felt my tonsils will kill me. Choose your flavors wisely.
There are many breakfast meals offered, choose wisely. There are chances that you will end up ordering the wrong meal so take time to read the meal offerings and then place your order.
I tried Lemon Ice tea, Pesto Pasta, and Vanilla-chocolate shake as well. The shake was just fine but the pasta was good.
Pasta really reminds me of my trip to Paris. I love Paris – Do read my Series on Paris.

Really, I didn’t know that it is in New York as well.. I am sure you love others as well..?
This all looks delicious! I love Pret, but I’m always looking for new places to get breakfast (it’s the best meal of the day after all!) Thanks so much for sharing your favourites!
I am glad I could help..hope you have a good one!
I’ve only done Pret and Breakfast Club! Gotta try the other two now that you recommended it!
Did you like both the places? ?
Haha I am reading this in London in the morning, it’s so tempting to pop out to one of these places 🙂
Maybe a treat for the weekend!
Oh this is amazing Alex. Do share your experience whenever you try food at any outlet. I was in London a few days back.. I loved your city?
We were in London two months ago and we didn’t make it to have a breakfast there! Next time we will definitely try one of these options ?
You must dear, do share your experience afterwards?
So much delicious food! I am so hungry now from this post but in a good way ? thanks for the share, the next time we’re in London we will look into some of these places.
Thanks Chris. ?
Oh yes, totally nailed it, I love eating out for breakfast! Even more than for a dinner. Thanks for the tips, they all look cute and delicious ?
Thanks a ton, I am glad I could help.?
Yumm this looks all so delicious! It has to be a good place if you have to wait in line for it! Can’t wait to visit London sometime again ?
You will definitely have a good time there…?
All of these places look delicious! We have a couple places back home that you have to wait in line for breakfast as well. Not a huge fan of waiting in line, but that means the restaurant is great….. catch 22.
Same here, even I can’t wait in queues but then we have to take care of our readers as well..??
I love The Breakfast Club! There’s so many great places to eat in London. How did you narrow it down to just 4? 😛
You are absolutely right, my friend, I was there for 5 days and I could only try 10 -12 places to eat. Based on that I shared my experience. 🙂
Luke and I are ALL ABOUT breakfast and brunch, and try to find the best spots wherever we go. Good news is all of these places look sooo delicious, so I think we have someplace to start when we finally visit London! …now I’m hungry.
Same here, even I am a foodie and good places to eat is always my first search before traveling. Hope you have a great experience in all the cafes. enjoy!
Thanks for the meticulous details. I love knowing good places to eat when I am traveling.
You are most welcome.. same here..good food is the key to happiness?
Thanks for the meticulous details. I love knowing good places to eat when I am traveling. They look delicious
Great post! I love food and I do love London ?
Thank you Louis?
They do look invinting. Would love to just drop there, eat food and be lazy. I live in Scandinavia and don’t like that there is no traditions to have breakfast out.
Oh really? I didn’t know about that but I am glad you told me about no breakfast thing..?
Im from London but havent lived there for years. Your blog makes me miss it all. The buzz, the vibrancy, the amazing breakfasts. Lovely way to look at London in a different light.
I know, I love London too though I was there only for 5days but they were sufficient to make me fall in love with it?
Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal of the day!
These options all look and sound divine.
They truly are, you must try sometime?
Classis European type fare! I’ve been livinng in Asia for the past year and now in the UAE so it’s been a while I’ve seen or craved the “normal” breakfast food they serve in th UK and the states. Looks delicious!
I hope you get a chance soon to taste all of it..?
I would totally go for the hashbrown sandwich. That sounds to statisfying. All of these places look delicious and your pictures made them even more delicious sounding, but I was stuck on the hashbrown sandwich. Deep friend potatoes, salt combined with carbs, what could be better!!! Sounds like a great late night snack as well.
You sound just like me, I glad to meet someone who loves Potatoes like I do..?
Your comment made me feel hungry..
Yum! I absolutely LOVE to treat myself to a nice breakfast out in a cute café when I’m travelling (and when I’m not!) I’m definitely pinning this for the next time I pop into London ?
Same here, thanks Erica. Much love?
Been to London so many times but did not know so many breakfast options existed there. I am going to check these out the next time I am there. Thanks!
Do share your experience here?
These all look delicious. Would love to feed my stomach there. And totally agree with you that we should count our meal too.
? hope you have a lovely experience too..
I live in London, and have a Pret right on my doorstep! The Breakfast Club is an excellent choice, the pancakes are also very good there!
How lucky you are! ?
The photos make me so hungry! I usually end up skipping breakfast but these look delicious ?
You should try having it at times?
